The Iwaki Aquatic LAbREED® Bench-Top Zebrafish System is a compact, high-performance aquatic research unit designed for precision, reliability, and ease of use. Available in two or three-shelf configurations, each system features constant flow technology with speed-controlled Iwaki pumps that automatically adjust to maintain stable water delivery to all tanks. Constructed with a powder-coated aluminum rack and open shelving, the LAbREED® system allows effortless access to tanks and plumbing for maintenance. Its advanced filtration includes a moving bed biofilter, stainless steel UV sterilizer, and multi-stage carbon and micron filtration for superior water quality. Polycarbonate tanks in 2, 4.5, and 9 liters feature a self-cleaning baffle design, secure locking lids, and color-coded larval baffles for precise research control. With an integrated Life Support Controller that enables remote monitoring, alerts, and data logging, the LAbREED® system provides a smart, space-efficient solution for zebrafish housing and aquatic research applications.

Innovative Tank Design

Innovative adult baffle design with vertical tube that provides self-cleaning flow for the removal of settleable solids.
Tank and rack combine to create 5-degree slope towards tank vertical tube drain for improved solids removal efficiency
Locking lid ensures proper placement, security and prevents fish escape
Three-piece tank assembly (tank, lid, and baffle) are autoclavable and easy to clean with no recesses or complicated parts
Larval baffles are color coded for easy identification of the 400, 700, and 1000 micron sizes. Tanks include two slots for larval baffle placement
